There are two sessions for this workshop from 1-3:30pm and 3:30-6pm.
The recent finanical crisis, public spending cuts, the 2011 Budget - economics affect us all but who benefits and what are the impacts locally?
Explore the area as you join workshops led by artist Shiraz Bayjoo and take on the role of social historian to produce a series of short films documenting the stories of people working and living in the area. Get to explore and meet the people of this lively and exciting part of East London. Also includes a guided tour.
Films will be displayed in an exhibition at Rivington Place from 19-23 July and online - prizes to be won include a fantastic flip camera. Workshops involve some walking around Shoreditch.
