Stuart Hall Library
Named after the eminent cultural theorist, Professor Stuart Hall, the Stuart Hall Library focuses on contemporary African, Asian, Latin American and European Art, and the work of British artists from different cultural backgrounds.
Run by Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts), the Library holds exhibition catalogues, monographs on critical and cultural theory and periodicals. You will also discover audio-visual material on DVD and CD, and a substantial collection of slides and ephemera.

The Library hosts talks and events, stimulating debate and engaging leading thinkers. Join our Reading Group on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6.30pm, with discussions on selected texts relating to visual culture, literature, philosophy and cultural diversity. Upcoming meetings are on 10 November and 8 December, for the texts to be discussed and other details email library@iniva.org
